Celebrating International Languages Week
INTERNATIONAL LANGUAGES WEEK
We celebrated International Languages Week with daily activities and celebrations during the last week of term.
We kicked off the week on Monday, when students had a great time trying on traditional Chinese outfits. 听听
Tuesday鈥檚 sunny weather was perfect timing for a spot of p茅tanque on The Green to celebrate le fran莽ais.
The sunshine continued on Wednesday, creating a welcome Mediterranean vibe for our Spanish day 鈥 where we enjoyed delicious treats including Spanish churros with salsa de chocolate and empanadas from the Argentinian food truck Sabores Latinos.
Hungry crowds of students enjoyed an array of delicious global eats at lunchtime on Thursday, along with face painting, 鈥榩hoto frame鈥 booths, and live performances.听
We wrapped up the week on Friday celebrating Japanese 鈥 with origami, board art, J-pop and games.
